Presidential Signing Statements

When the President signs a bill into law, he/she may issue a signing statment expressing his/her view on the bill.  The text of these Presidential messages appear in several places including:

-  Weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents (1965-2009) / Daily Compilation of Presidential Documents (2009-)
-  Public Papers of the Presidents of the United States (1929-current)
-  U.S. Code Congressional and Administrative News - selected (1941-current)
